Brothers Mislav Klaić and Luka Klaić attended music schools in Zagreb, Croatia, where their music path began with the support of their teachers and parents. After both had numerous failed attempts in forming a band, they decided to live up to their childhood dream and join forces to build harmonies - together.
Now we're in 2021: Meshgrid is born – an artistic project with the aim of meshing various genres and finding their balance in indie rock music. Heavily inspired by their dad’s old band Ritmo and a wide range of musicians, they have decided to create their albums as multilingual genre experiments. Their debut, demo album Pilot published in 2023 is a several-years' work of heart recorded on their tiny 8-track Zoom R8 recorder.
Soon, Leon Baždar joined on drums and percussion while Mak Terbovc joined on the bass. Holding their first gig at Mochvara, Zagreb on 30th January 2024, Meshgrid became a fully fledged group which then continued its tour in places such as Samobor Bunker, Boogaloo, Zagreb Velesajam, Hard Place, Spunk, and Grof Melin. In 2025, they released their second demo work - double album Radiant.
Building on the knowledge that emerged from Pilot and Radiant, they continue to refine their ideas and self‑expression in upcoming singles and albums. Listeners can stay tuned by following Meshgrid on YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, LinkTree, and many other platforms.
